Divination

A Brief Introduction to Divinition with Fall of Crowns

The subject of a reading should start with an inquiry then shuffle or cut the deck themselves.

The reader then places 7 cards face up in a semi-circle in front of the Inquirer.  This is the Arch representing the current state of the Inquirer.

One of these cards will be found to be closely linked with the inquiry. The Reader places 6 cards face up in a line starting at the Linked card and moving away from the Inquirer. These are the obstacles.

6 more cards are placed face up with the last obstacle card to form a perpendicular line to the obstacles. This is the conclusion.

The Inquirer or the Reader may sense there is something missing from the read; In these cases the Reader deals 7 more cards face down. The Inquirer chooses and flips 2 of these cards.  These last 2 will provide as much clarity as is possible.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:

The suits represent

Leaf – Growth

Track - Journey

Feather – Dream

Wave – Body

Bone – Change

Watch for the abundance of any suit especially as it relates to the first seven cards. If suits appear there but nowhere else in the spread they could be representing a necessary change the Inquirer needs to make to achieve the conclusion.

Example: If Tracks appear in the obstacles and conclusion but not the Arch then the Inquirer may need to go on a journey to reach their conclusion. If Tracks are prominent in all three places that may mean the Inquirer is already on the Journey to their conclusion.
